There is still a small number of people who cannot wear contact lenses, so the first thing we need to do is make sure you’re eligible. We can then find out everything we need to know to fit you with the perfect lenses.

 

This involves eye health tests, measurements, calculating your prescription and discussing your lifestyle requirements.

 

With these details, we can recommend a pair of contact lenses that will fit your unique eyesight and lifestyle.  

WHICH TYPE OF CONTACT LENS IS RIGHT FOR YOU?

There are many types of contact lenses available. Depending on what kind of prescription you have, whether you are managing an eye condition and how you want to use contact lenses there are different options to suit your individual needs. Your optometrist will guide you through our selection to ensure you get the right lenses for you. 

Soft Daily Disposable Lenses

Soft contact lenses, also referred as disposable contact lenses, are an economical solution for part-time wearers as well as those who want a convenient, no-fuss daily contacts as there are no solutions or cleaning required.

Soft Monthly/Fortnightly Lenses

Certain soft contact lens models can be worn overnight but the vast majority do require cleaning and storing on a nightly basis. Ideal for those who want a better value option to daily disposables.

Gas Permeable Lenses

A type of hard contact lens used to shape the eyeball to correct astigmatisms or very high prescriptions, gas permeable lenses offer certain users more comfort than soft alternatives. 

Toric Lenses

Also used to correct astigmatisms, toric contact lenses are specially designed to fit the shape of the eye. Disposable or monthly/fortnightly lens options are available which will determine the need for solutions and care.

Multifocal Lenses

These contacts are used to correct distance and near vision simultaneously. Disposable or monthly/fortnightly lenses are available which will determine the need for solutions and care.

Whether you’re getting contact lenses for the first time or have been wearing them for years it's a good idea to have your eyes regularly tested. We offer a complete aftercare service to make sure that your contact lenses continue to give you excellent eyesight and comfort.

 

During your appointment, you’ll have plenty of time to discuss anything you’re struggling with and we can let you know about any new contact lenses that could be beneficial in your case.  

RECYCLE YOUR OLD LENSES.

We are now able to accept your old contact lenses and packaging for recycling.

Pop them in when you’re in town or bring them to your next appointment.
